Do you mean resealing the body panel opening with seam sealer, or resealed the heaterbox to body connection?

Yes the heater box under the cowl where the heater door flap is.( where the wiper motor is located)I see some heavy type of sealer around the box I was wondering if any one has removed this and resealed it or just apply fresh sealer over the old one. It looks like mine is separating from the bottom not sure if leaks water in the interior just doing a restore on the car and don't won't to find out later that water is coming in from there and not won't to remove the cowl again.

If it's separating then remove it and apply new seamsealer.
