Hello Fiatspider.com
I am not new to Fiats, but new to this forum. Today I got the title in the mail for the 85.5 I just bought out of western CO. It'll be awhile before I drive the car home - winter weather on two 11,000 foot passes does not inspire me to drive home a Spider. I'll wait for some spring weather and then bring the car home.
This will be my first FI car since 1996, when I had "Splice," which turned out to be two cars welded into one. I have always enjoyed 85.5s, so I am expecting a lot of fun fuel injection tribulations. My plans are to get the car happy enough to drive it to a race (running, not car) in Minnesota this summer.
The 85.5 (the VIN is zfras00b0f5511661) will join my '74 in the garage (I think, parking slots are at a premium in my life and that's one of my biggest problems with this purchase). The '74 is a fabulous car, much modified engine and suspension and painted fly yellow. Fun stuff.

Thanks Pete.
In a hard to explain series of events, I actually do not have one single photo of a car I just bought. But when I do, I'll put one up here.

I drive the fiat to grand junction often during the year... it is always a crap shoot as to what that high mountain weather will do .... right now is all dry with a little wet at vail and the tunnel .... also a severe winter storm warning predicting 30 inches by Friday ... hahahaha ..... if you ever need help with driving or just want a tagalong give me a shout ... It wouldn't happen to be the blue one from Grand Junction that was listed on Craigslist last summer, would it?

Welcome Jonathan!
You will love the 85.5! They are the best driving Spiders.
Do you still have your other Italian car? I have been looking at those lately...
