Body molding and weatherstripping
Body molding and weatherstripping
I am doing a bare metal resto of my 2000 spider. Figured I would do it right and replace all of the cracked and dead door, window, trunk and hood rubber trim. Just wondering if anyone has done business with a California company called World Upholstery and Trim? They also sell seat kits. I would also appreciate any comments or tips on where else to get some reasonable-priced trim. IAP is killing me. Thanks.

I purchased a blue front and rear seat kit from World Upholstery and was pleased with quality and price.
Here is a link to a company near you that I purchased a top from about 7 years ago and I am pleased with it also.

They sell tops and seat kits.
Here is a link to a company that sells the trim pieces that were on my 81.

I purchased a top and seat upholstery from World Upholstery. Here is my take and photos of the finished work. I still have this car and the upholstery fits better after some wear-in. I still have problems with the anchor points not staying in place. Even with the issues, I still think they're worth the money and would buy from them again.
I also bought a convertible top from them. It is now 12 years old and looks great still. I've not bought rubber seals or any other products from them.
