Hello All,
I have registered about 2 weeks ago when I picked up my first Fiat 124 from a cool neighbor. Since then this forum has been really helpful in assisting me in reassembling the car. It is far from a basket case but there are many things I am unfamiliar with.
I will post more pics after starting a build thread. I will need to fire up my other camera other than my phone camera, as well.
About Me: I am far from a 'car guy'. The most work I've done was to change oil in my dad's 1985 Civic and my 1987 Civic as a young teen. Other than a few spark plug or gasket replacements, I am a complete newbie. I tooled around with a couple motorcycles that were easy to work on in college. I had a small two-stroke bike that I took apart regularly because I kept screwing around with the carbs and messed up the tuning. Whenever I work on something, I end up with more washers and screws than I started with.
The danger with me is that I am not afraid to work on something, but I work painfully slow and will get tunnel vision. I will also need help because I do have delusions that I can do more than I have the experience to accomplish appropriately. Hence, I end up with more washers and screws than when I started.

Welcome aboard. I was (am?) exactly like you with no experience. This board is invaluable with lots of helpful people, and the Spider is a pretty easy car to work on.

welcome aboard. i just scatter a bunch of washers and bolts around the garage before i start a project. that way, i'm not alarmed whenthe project is completed.
