One Wire GM ALternator

Gents, I thought I read about this somewhere but cant find it in a search. I am sure some of you have done this. Any tips? It looks like it would bolt up fairly well with the normal hard mount shoulder (the two inch long bolt hole) out on the adjustment bracket and the small mounting shoulder against the block. Kind of upside down from normal. But should be ok.

Any shielding ideas for the exhaust header heat?
