Northern Ky Fiat restoration

Good afternoon everybody, just wanted to introduce myself. I am a new member, but have followed for some time. I purchased my 1977 Fiat from a friend, who inherited it from a family member back in the 90's. It was originally dark green, and still is under the hood. The outside is now red. It was kicking out of fourth gear, as told by my friend. I have removed the engine and transmission, and have almost completed the rebuild on transmission. It needs total interior and a paint job. Just a quick overview, Thanks to everyone for all the helpful posts. Have a good one.
