Can the tail light lens for the earlier cars (1970-1973?) (white/red/red) be put onto a tail light assembly that came with the later white/red/orange lens (pre 1978) lens? Will they function the same as well?

My car came with a mismatched set and I want to correct it. Can I just buy this; http://www.autoricambi.us/product/RS7-4 ... nger-Side/

And put it on my tail light that looks like this;

Or are they different assemblies altogether?

If both have 3 lenses then they are interchangeable.

I purchased a pair of these a couple years ago from someone in Greece, I so want to see this car completed
maybe summer this year maybe not...
