Re-introducing self

After a prolonged absence I have re-entered the world of Spider ownership with the purchase of this car: http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic ... 10&t=26384 Many thanks to Spider2081 who was kind enough to make a couple of trips to the sellers house on my behalf and help vet the car. I am looking forward to seeing it in SC sometime late next week and getting it back to life.

Hey Zachmac what ever happened to the 1976 spider , that you had for sale then changed your mind and gave it to a freind?

The friend still has it. That is GA Spiders old car. I actually sold it to the friend and I couldn't convince him recently to sell it back, hence the purchase of this other car. BTW, the 76 is currently not running well. It starts and idles but won't take fuel. I've offered to help him diagnose / fix it but it is very much back burner for him; a shame really as it is a nice car with lots of potential. Maybe my getting the other one here, getting it running and visiting his house in it, where his wife will see it (versus the dead 76 she can't drive) will motivate him!
