I also have a 78 X1/9 that's in close-to-perfect condition. I purchased her from the original owner 7 years ago, who had restored her in 2000. We attended the Freakout in Chicago this year and drove the X 870 miles round trip. We didn't buy the Spider until we got home so we that whole weekend to get pumped about making the decision to make the purchase!
I'll be searching threads for information as we progress. Right now we need to figure out how to get the seats out so we can work on the floor. Notice how I keep saying "we?"
