Hey all!!
I have a 78 Fiat Spider in desperate need of love. Last driven about 3 years ago and then sat in a barn. I have no idea where to begin but I have the will to get this baby running again.
I'm sure I'll be calling on you all for much needed assistance as the road is negotiated.
Here's to much fun, sweat and tears on the journey.
Thanks!!
D.

Hi again,
We're over in New Smyrna Beach
Thanks for all the kind words although I'm now concerned about the wife and kids leaving
Our car's story is a somewhat sad one - bought her in 1997 as a 'running' 1978 Spider. Got married to my awesome wife and used 'tinker - the spider' as the getaway car from the wedding. Kept her running until 2001 when our 13 year old got cancer. Money became an object and medical bills became the priority over keeping Tinker running.
Now, she's been left for all those years but we have finally got the resources to get her running again.
Oh, and our son who had the cancer is now 26 and married
Maybe a little much information but hey, that's the story!
I'm looking forward to getting our Tinker up n running again!
Darren
