really love the 302 fiat, what is the bowtie emblem for the rear end? do you run stock suspension with wheel adapters? also like the side pipes very much. after that i'm defiantly leaning towards an 8 I have a 302 laying around that I could use. are you running a c4 with a chevy 10 bolt ?
Re: new guy from akron ohio
Yes the emblem on the back is a chevy bow tie for the rear end, it came out of a S 10 pickup. The S10 rear end is the correct width. Makes life a little easier and can more then handle the power from the 302. Ford oval in the front , motor, and Fiat over all. We call it a confused Fiat. The suspension is not stock changed the front spindle to Chevy S10 two inch drop spindles so that we could match the rear end bolt patterns. Flaming River Pinto Rack & pinion. The front cross member also was dropped two inches. The side pipe were home made. And yes C4 tran had a Ford AOD with a over drive lock out switch. removed the AOD hoping to improve racing performance. (didn't help) You might think about the Mustang II Front clip. I would if I was starting over.gene124fiat wrote:really love the 302 fiat, what is the bowtie emblem for the rear end? do you run stock suspension with wheel adapters? also like the side pipes very much. after that i'm defiantly leaning towards an 8 I have a 302 laying around that I could use. are you running a c4 with a chevy 10 bolt ?
