Re: New member - edmonton canada
Bit chilly up there at the moment eh...
Don't be afraid to head west young man. Several have been for sale in BC that don't look too bad.
What kind of price point? A decent car here is around $5000.00 that you can drive and tweek as you see fit. A cheap rust bucket will cost plenty in the long run. Rust free but a few mechanical issues is not bad as mechanicals are relatively easy to sort.
What year car ? early with the nice chrome bumpers or later FI cars.
perhaps Fred at Ital Motors might have something?
Chris in comparatively warm Naramata.

Re: New member - edmonton canada
Thanks Guys,
Looking forward to many happy hours perusing all the info on here.
The key, as I'm reading, is to find the right car body as rust free as possible.
I might go down and look a the one in Red Deer...as it's stripped it should be easy to spot any problems...
I do know a guy here who has one and is quite knowledgeable so it would probably be fairly easy to convince him to go along for the ride
I'm just new to the fiat scene so am unsure of prices..I don't want something I can drive to car shows, I want something I can drive to work ALso, my son is turning 13 and it would be a great start to get him introduced to tinkering.
I don't want a full re-build, but something decent that runs and I can tinker with as I go along would be great.
I will check out BC...the closer to home the better, but I'm open to anything
