Radiator fan switch bad

My fan would not come on at over 200 degrees. Unplugging and testing, my fan comes on , but the radiator fan sender switch is bad. I see they sell one that comes on sooner to run at a cooler temp. Has anyone gone to that and like it, or is stock good enough? I have no miles behind the wheel on this car, so I have no idea where the temps run normally.

I bought the lower temp one from AR when I replaced mine. I like it as it kicks the fan on a little earlier in traffic

Assuming you already pulled the trigger already but I got the early on sender from AR as well. Really like it. No more sitting in a drive thru and getting a bit nervous at gauge creep. It flicks on literally right as the gauge starts to leave the middle line, then shuts off dead middle again. More cycles, shorter cycle times. No idea on the reliability of the sender with a stock fan, I'm running one of those low profile aftermarket fans. Blows much more air, is tons quieter, lighter and pulls less current which is the more important part.
