My turn signals work but the indicator in the dashboard just gives a single fluttering flash when signals are activated,. its the same for both sides,. any suggestions of where to locate the problem. ?

make sure your turn signal bulbs are good. clean the bulb sockets, and check their grounds. clean the connections to the bulbs, specifically the grounds.
