Exhaust hanger

My exhaust work is almost done on my '81. Thinking about installing an exhaust hanger but not sure where best to put it. Looks to me that the best support point is just rear of the center muffler/resonator (near where the rear muffler slides in). Right now the exhaust is perfectly adjusted (not touching anything - even the emergency brake cable) but I'm using a jack to keep it in position until I get the hanger installed. Some posts mention to use the seat belt nut that should be welded somewhere in the area but I can't find it anywhere. The closest thing is the rubber stop area for the differential where there is a metal bracket.

Has anyone done this? A picture would be very helpful.

A few days ago I noticed that my muffler pipe separated from my middle pipe. Guess my clamps didn't hold. Didn't want to fiddle with it anymore so went to Speedy and got it welded.

Only $40 so I'm happy with that... And they loved the car and commented on how great my front suspension looked. Nice when you get compliments on work that you've done yourself.

So I highly recommend Speedy exhaust on Eagleson in Kanata. Very relaxed guys and they loved to talk cars.
