I recently bought my first spider. It's a 1982 2000. It's in pretty good shape since the last guy was trying to restore it but bit off more than he could chew. He rebuilt the motor and then got the belt timing off and bent the valves. I got the car for $600. then I bought a running engine/tranny plus a bunch of interior parts for $400. Im super excited aboput this little car and look fforward to driving it soon.

Great buy for $600 if all you have to worry about are bent Valves. If you only have the valves to worry about you might want to fix that buying a new head and sell the Engine and tranny. Seams like you could make a few dollars and have a running car?
