Headlamp socket

In process of dismantling and am looking at flakes of paint and bits of rust in the headlamp socket. So...is that removeable? How?

Ha! So last evening as I'm showing off my project to a friend, I start to explain to him that someone hanging up the works right now is the headlamp holder socket, that I cannot figure how to remove it. Then I look at one headlamp, from which the builb has been removed...and it is sitting there, loose. I tug and it just pops out. So I answered my own question: the socket is removable after the bulb and rings have been removed. Easy!
