Relocate Small Gauges

Post by davery »

I am thinking of relocating the small gauges to the center console. I do not have a radio and they look pretty good on that spot. I know the people that have installed the California dash have relocated gauges, but am wondering how difficult this will be. It looks like each gauge has 4-6 wires and each would need to be extended 1.5-2 ft, but I'm not real excited about cutting into the OEM wiring harness. Any thoughts or ideas?

Don't cut the wires, attach the correct size male and female connectors to the extension wires, unplug the wires from the gauge and plug in the extension wires to the harness wire and then to the gauges. Be sure to mark the wire locations!
