Hazard Switch Wiring '71 Spider

Post by micktierney »

Does anyone have the correct wiring for the hazard switch on a 1971 Spider? I took it in to the shop for tranny repairs and suspect they wired it incorrectly.

They had to take radio cover off to get the center consol up for the job. Have been having electrical issues since.

Thanks!

I have, but I'm not sure how to read it. There are two rows of connectors, which goes to which?

We have brake lights!!! This means the little red car is street legal, mostly.

Mick: This may help as well:

If you have the original switch, it may fail due to age (mine did on the 72). The only replacements have a different labeling system on the contacts, hence my post from 2014.

Hopefully the rest of your lights are coming on line.
