1800 head part identification

Post by BammBamm »

My head gasket blew on on 82 FI engine. So i took this as an opportunity to use the 1974 1800 head i have. After having it machined i went to clean it up and I noticed these threaded holes going into the exhaust valve chamber. My Fi head doesnt have these. They are plugged on another 74 head I have but I cant see with what. What are the holes between the spark plug and the head bolt? What should I plug it with?

They are air injector ports (emissions). They can be plugged with these;
