Headlight Short?

I finally am to the point where I am re-installing the gauge cluster. When I put the cluster panel back in I noticed the lights were not working. I pulled the gauge panel forward (keeping the electrical connections and resting it on the steering column) and the lights flashed on and off a few times. Obviously, I have a short somewhere. Also, don't know if its related, but the tach light is working, but not the needle. And the speedo light is flashing. This could be because I replaced the bulbs with LED's and I need to check the bulb connection. Any idea what color the headlight wires are coming out of the steering column? Thanks.
