I was hoping that somebody would be able to help me identify the exhaust manifold that is on my 1979 fiat spider. Mbouse helped me realize that it wasn't the original since it is a 4-2-1 system (thanks Mike). It has the following stamped on it: FIAT 440782 BSC. I just want to be sure to have the correct gaskets if I decide to pull it off. It does have the port and tube coming off of it that runs to the engine block. If you'd like me to email you a pic I'd be happy to.
Thanks for any help that you can provide.
Rob

Re: Exhaust Manifold Identification
Mark is right, but I think the number is supposed to be 4407872. I think you might have missed a digit?

Re: Exhaust Manifold Identification
Thanks for replying to my post.
You are correct it is actually 4407872 - sorry for the mistake. I guess I have a stock manifold but a different downpipe then what was original. Is it possible to have a 4-2-1 exhaust with a stock manifold? I definitely have 2 downpipes. Sorry for the rookie questions.....
Thanks,
Rob
