Hello Everyone!
I am a bit crazy and after a hiatus of 20 years, and I decided to jump back into the hobby with both feet, my credit cards, and Auto Ricambi as a new car porn site . The inspiration came from the show Wheeler Dealers, and Edd China's one statement "you just need to have the courage"; this awoke my inner teenager and immediately located a needy local Spider. Why a 124? Because I loved Fiats as a teen, and their return to the USA; spurred my purchase of a 500 Abarth 2 years ago; and love it . My '74 turned out to have a '79 2.0 liter engine, and a "custom" interior, bypassed all kinds of vacuum lines, disconnected electrical, and left me clueless staring at the engine bay; hence "FrankenFiat" . Luigi is his name (my daughter is helping with the refurb, so she named him) and I am trying to encourage the whole family to help bring him back from the brink.
Now it is time to thank each of you for the tips and tricks since my purchase 3 weeks ago, the DIY bushing puller/pusher, advice on why the passenger area is soaking wet, and what the heck is this electrovalve supposed to connect, and more!
