(and i have some friends in brisbane). i'm going to be on a working holiday visa, so i'll be looking for a job starting at the beginning of september.

anyone have any contacts in southeast queensland (like you know, someone that needs a fulltime fiat mechanic?!?!)

A bit too far north for me (about 2000km ), but last Easter I was racing at Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick (a couple of hours west of Brisy) and it's a great little track if you are into that sort of thing. Good luck with the job hunting - Fiat are now back in Oz selling new Puntos and 500s, you might be able to pick up a job at one of the dealerships. :D

Trippbannister,

What line of work are you in ?
I work for a nation wide company, might be able to help. I'm located in Sydney ( 1000Km from Brisbane ) but I'm an Ex-Brisbane boy, I still have contacts in the Queensland Fiat Club ( which meet once a month for dinner and a club meeting ) I can arrange an intro.
