Should I??

Post by gjonsey »

Howdy all. I have a 76 124 that I am doing a FULL rebuild on. I have taken lots of pictures and videos, and am curious to know how interested the community would be if I made them into full YouTube videos. A documentary of sorts, or a place where people can critique my handy-work

Interests? I have a channel that I do video games and stuff, so I have experience with video editing 8)

Thanks for advice

I search for 124 Spider (classic) content on YouTube regularly for new postings. I've posted a few.
Ez way to share with the forum and others world wide.

I would watch it. Plus it would be super helpful to find videos about 124s other than for sale or show off videos. Technical videos would be a big help as well as another comment thread on products. Im betting a few other companies would be down to help with promos and product placement.

Those various videos are enormously helpful IF the lighting is good and detail is well shown, so absolutely yes!

Another yes. There are parts of my rebuild which would have been far more difficult without the then-available videos.

Hoping someone decides to make a feature length movie on rebuilding a 124 trans! Got the original trans in my garage, waiting for some clear time on the sched.

Please Do. We can read the forum all day for great info, but the pictures and videos are worth a 1000 printed words.

Yes please do the vids, these fiats, although not difficult to work on, by increasing the amount of info to draw from, delights, satisfies the diyers when they've learned something and applied to fix their own 124. Owning a 40 year old car can be a unique labor of love.
