Car Transport
Purchasing a car near Kansas City Missouri and need to transport it Denver Colorado. Any recommendations for transporting a car from Missouri to Colorado? Open trailer would be fine, I do not want to take a risk on getting stuck going across Kansas in a car I don't know. Thanks,

I've shipped cars twice. There are several online sites that will help line you up with a truck.
When I did it, I was able to post what I was willing to pay, and what kind of trailer I wanted (covered/uncovered), and then drivers would contact the go-between company if they were willing to carry the car for the price specified. The go-between company then added $100 to the bill for their efforts.
In the end I paid about $1400 to ship a Mercedes from New York to Seattle in a covered trailer (winter months), which I felt was a very fair price. I also shipped my Fiat up from Los Angeles for about $800 in an uncovered trailer which also seemed reasonable.
You're proximity to I-70 should make it easy to find a professional car transporter at fair price, especially if you're flexible about the ship dates. The firmer your dates, the more you'll likely end up spending.
