I just bought a "holley/weber" DIC 10 on ebay.it for what I saw as a decent price and my Italian was just good enough to understand that it either could be or has been used for the Fiat 850. Is the DIC 10 the Holley version of the weber DIC-1?
The guy I bought it from doesn't know much of anything about the carb, or english... Anyone know how this carb is different from the Weber DIC-1?
Thanks as always for the answers I get from this board!

I'm not sure, but sounds like you are going to find out if you bought it already. I think you've got a good chance it might be close to or nearly the same. I've been looking at carb parts a bit lately and the number sounds familar, and I remember seeing a lot of Holley parts, not all, but a lot were interchangeable with the webber carbs so you might get lucky. It'd be interesting to find out if it does for sure and how well it works out.

Thanks for the reply, and I agree. So much so that I've already bought a rebuild kit for the original 850 carb. If nothing else, I'll rebuild that one. I'm curious to find out what I get. The guy said it came off of an 850, but that's all he knew...
I've had a hell of a time finding performance carbs for this car. I hear the DGS carb is a decent option, but I can't find one of those, and I've also tried to buy a custom machined Weber 36 DGV intake for the 903 CC Fiat 850 motor, but Costa Mesa R&D is currently out of them. DAMMIT!
If anyone knows where to get a hot carb for an 850 I'd sure like to know!

the only Holley/Weber carb I'm aware of is the one that came on the Pinto. That seems like too much carb for an 850. The 32/36 is a good choice for a 2L twin cam
