thanks to everyone on this forum that responded to my question "was Electronic Ignition Upgrade worth it?"
completed this morning and believe me it started easily...and after a few simple adjustments it is good to go.
Just a refresher on my Fiat....it is a 78 spider, one owner and garage kept and sat for the past 7+ years.
Now to change the oil, bleed the brakes and new coolant.
tomorrow will be the test drive, can't wait!

I will ask the mechanic tomorrow....I believe he had one from a 80 or 81

my mechanic used an original electronic ignition and coil from a 80 Fiat
