Tensioner Spring assembly

Post by spider2081 »

I am putting together an 1980 2L engine that I didn't take apart. I have a timing belt tensioner spring that I believe is correct. Problem is I believe the bolt and washer are not correct. Also I thought there was a spacer that belongs inside the center of the spring that the bolt passes through. Does anyone know the length of the spacer if there is one? Also the lenght of the bolt.
Thanks

I have my motor apart. If no one post before I get home tonight I will get that for you.

The total length of the bolt is 1 13/16''. The spacer is 7/8''. The over all width of the washer is 1 1/8''. I am assuming you have the metric size and thread pattern.
