New on the road

Post by pope »

Caught my first glimps of the Camero with a regular license plate on it, meaning they are starting to deliver to the public. Have seen them around town for the last 2 years, but always with manufacture plates.

Sorta looks like the product of a GM/Chrysler alliance to me. The Chevy Avenger?

I saw one of these on Highway 401 going from Toronto to Montreal on January 4th. Blew me away! Literally, but I really mean it seemed odd since it's not going on sale for months yet. It had dealer plates. It looks better in person than the pictures suggest.

i really wasn't impressed with what i saw last weekend... like Denise, i think it is slurring and blurring several design patterns, not really grabbing or stimulating.

I really like it as it has some of the old mixed with some of the new ,,I see it no different with the Camero than the Charger or Mustang which is the same thing ,,some of the new with some of the old .. it to me looks tough and ready to roll ..
What I notice is ,,,when talking to some guys and gals is,,, that if they are an "old school" Mopar lover ,,then they lean to the Charger looking the best ,,or if they are a Ford person they will favor the Mustang ,,which comes around to me ,,but only sorta ,,because I like em all,, but I am a Chevy guy and my wife and I bought her a Camero years ago and I now would want this new styled one for her as she would look "fine " sitting behind the wheel ...
