while fiddling with my car today I noticed that the two main parts that comprise the body of my aav are loose to each other. you can spin and rock a little the round back in relation to the housing. I'm guessing this is not normal and that I need a new aav?

it gets crimped together. Does it still work?

there are four small posts the protrude thru holes in the opposite body section, then they appear to be flared out or mushroomed at the ends in order to hold the body together. I'll have to read up on how to test it, but the car starts easy and runs good albiet with a sometimes varying idle.
