Late Introduction: Another '79

Post by driftandrally616 »

Hey, I bought my spider last summer and spent most of that fixing brakes and getting it road legal. 2 days after my inspection (second attempt), I took a 2.5 hr trip to Lime Rock Park in CT to join the other Italian cars to parade around the track. I have committed a lot of time, and a lot of money(in my eyes, I'm 18), to this car, and have enjoyed every minute of it. Except replacing the fuel pump (PITA!). But anyway, I posted a few things on here, mostly questions, and received lots of help from many of the regulars on here. I want to thank all of you for the help you have given me, and the help I may receive in the future. And last, but not least, the PICTURES!

Welcome Derek. Nice looking Spider. Is that your Suby in the avatar? I gather you're into rallying as well? Good for you! :D

Welcome aboard Derek. You've gotten into your Spider a lot younger than I got into my first one. I guess you're just naturally crazier than me.
Good job posting pics of your car. Very nice.

Thanks Ron, hopefully I'll be more crazy after I upgrade my carb and intake manifold, and yes, I hate when I look at intro. posts and there aren't any pictures!
