Hi!
I have an unidentified clutch problem on mu 1981 Spider 2000 (with a 131 engine). The return spring (from clutch lever to trans) broke and just hang down from the lever so I just made a new hook and reattached it. When doing this something happened with the lever - like something snapped out of place. The clutch is not working. The cable and pedal is fine and when I press the pedal down the arm moves forward - but there is no "resistance" and the clutch is not engaging.
I'd love any hints on what might have happened and how to fix it!
Cheers

Clutch problem
Re: Clutch problem
sounds like the arm came off the pivot. It's possible you can get it snapped back in place without removing the tranny, but it will take some finesse. The tricky part is that the lever also holds the release bearing

Hi!
Yea - actually managed to snap it back in place. Not really sure of what I did but I think I pushed the lever towards clutch centre. Workin fine now!
