I know I'm not the only one who has had a problem with their fuel inlet pulling out of their Weber. I found an easy fix, I don't know if all have the same diameter inlet as the DHSA, but the fuel inlet in mine was 5/16", exactly the size an 1/8"npt tap uses. I removed the plug/screen on the bottom and stuffed in a paper towel, then tapped it out and then screwed in a 1/8npt to 5/16" barbed fitting. No more fire hazzard.

Nice fix, mine was loose and weeping a little fuel, I glued it with orange permatex gasket maker, but I will re-do it with your fix
