Radiator fan won't come on.

Hi Guys, I read the whole thread about the fan not coming on previously posted. Just some basic questions. First i unplugged the fan motor lead and wired it directly to the battery, fan runs. What should be my next step? Am I correct in thinking it has to be confined to the fan, fan switch, t-stat, or water temp sender switch? Thanks for any help.

not necessarily. if there is a nice big, fat, juicy air pocket in the head, coolant will not flow well... no flow=no hot water to the thermo switch=no fan

you also have to check the power source and ground connection

Hi Mark and Mike, I neglected to mention that there is installed the T fitting in the heater hose and I believe that there is fluid showing in it. Mark, I didn't check to see if there is power to the fan, but will next. Thanks and I'll let you know.
