Awesome Spider Engine Compartment

Post by Newell33 »

Take a look at this spider listed on eBay. I have to say it's one of the best looking engine compartments I've ever seen on one of these cars. What a fantastic job!

the engine compartment is nice, but it's offset with the dreadful interior treatment

That engine compartment does look clean. Seeing others interiors is always helpful with my designs. Hopefully I don't make the same mistakes. :?

The engine compartment doesn't appeal to me. Why hide the engine? That's what the hood is for. The Fiat engines are great, when given regular maintenance. It looks like quite the headache to take all those custom pieces off before you can even start to look at any kind of maintenance.

It seems strange to see the stock exterior and all of that done underhood. Someone spent an awful lot of time farbricating all of that and some looks really good, but a few items including the side covers I could do without. The dash of my '72 was painted red and I hated it.

I agree that the engine compartment is overdone with the side covers, etc. I would like to have that radiator!

As far as the interior, the red items wouldn't be all that hard to undo so if the price isn't to crazy this would make a nice starting point to get back to a ncie car.

EEEEEEEWWWWWW! That should be criminal to paint those chromadoras red like that. Although, I was thinking of totally doing my seats the same way when I have them re-upholstered. Except, white and blue of course.

Would my red teddy bear rims be considered criminal?
