You gotta love it! Sure don't want to break the rules.
We all see examples of bureaucrats making stupid decisions because "it's the rule". My favorite comes from the building department. I built a house a while back in the San Fernando Valley. The carport ended up being 5' from the property line with his neighbor, which had a 5' high cement block wall. Because the new carport was within 10 foot of another structure they made me "fireproof" the block wall!

Yeah, there are some dumb rules out there. But ignoring them can cause other problems. Which train would you rather have been riding? The Union Pacific coal train ... or this one?

The key element missing is common sense. What happened to people using that?
1972 124 Spider (Don)
1971 124 Spider (Juan)
1986 Bertone X19 (Blue)
1978 124 Spider Lemons racer
1974 X19 SCCA racer (Paul)
2012 500 Prima Edizione #19 (Mini Rossa)
Ever changing count of parts cars....It's a disease!

I can see the same within my company. They sit behind the seats and make the rules. They have no clues.
