VAS Performance Springs - NEW COLORS

Post by Mathew26 »

Hey guys great news! We got our Performance Springs back on the shelf. Jerry went all out with this order and brought in 4 different colors. We now carry our original YELLOW along with a beautiful DARK BLUE, deep powerful RED, and understated BLACK. They are still the same great springs as before for lowering and stiffening your car.

They lower later cars, but they raise early ones. Threw a set on a 68 once. Made it look like a 4x.

I was wondering about this as I just took the big bumpers off and now have to deal with the ride height. I have not researched it yet but does someone make the correct springs for the earlier cars? BTW the spring colors look great! I was wondering the hint of yellow I see on my springs were stock or not, now I know. Can you do a TRI-Color? Green/White/Red ?

A whole set retails for $235 for any color.

I also have removed my big bumpers and w/o that weight yea the cars goes up even more. The bumper weight of the early cars is also not calculated into these springs which is way they can ride higher with these springs. So the answer to both these issues is to take off an additional coil or do that to your stock springs :D . I hope that helps.

Thanks guys for the nice posts. We do appreciate it!

Oh and SLOspider. I did ask the maker on a tri color. Lazy guys didn't wanna do it. Then I asked a local powdercoating shop and too expensive to have the 3 colors on each spring. Maybe someday in the future we will do a limited production run, but for now....

Thanks

Can springs be powder coated? I thought by baking them, it would weaken them.

Brady, The springs are fine. We have not had a single failure due to any kind of over baking heat problem. In fact we've had no failures at all. You are probably right though over heating them in anyway is probably very bad.
